Here are some photos from the Chicago Cubs vs the Milwaukee Brewers game at Wrigley Field on July 4, 2009.
The Cubs lost the game 2-11, but Todd, Jessica and I had a great time at the game. We sat in the bleacher seats in the outfield and arrived at the game just in time to catch the Brewer’s batting practice. A couple of baseballs were hit into the seats near us, but we weren’t close enough to catch any.
Prince Fielder made a diving/sliding catch while playing in the outfield during batting practice. For a big guy, he sure can run fast. Maybe Soriano could take some advice from him on how to run (faster).
A couple of the Brewer’s pitchers were also in the outfield during batting practice. They seemed to really enjoy picking out certain fans in the bleachers to throw the hit baseballs to.
It rained during most of the game, but we didn’t really get wet. The rain was just barely noticeable and was only a real nuisance a couple of times during the game.

My brother and I went fishing on Fowler Lake, Big Cedar Lake and Gilbert Lake this past weekend.
We caught bluegill, crappie and perch on Fowler Lake, and caught bluegill, perch, northern pike and bass on Big Cedar and Gilbert. We kept a few bluegill and crappie from Fowler and fried them up for breakfast one morning. We let the bass and northern pike go.
